Avoid blue light : Blue light emitted from television, computer and cell phone screens can disrupt sleep by suppressing the production of sleep hormones like melatonin. It is therefore recommended to avoid screens before going to bed or to use blue light blocking glasses.

Take a nap : A short nap (about 20 to 30 minutes) can help bridge sleep deprivation and improve alertness during the day. However, it is important not to take too long a nap, as this can disrupt nighttime sleep.
